Domain Name Contains Main Keyword – If you want your blog to stand up it is best to optimize from the smallest things as it can, one of them is the domain name that is used consist of main keyword. It is not necessarily to be done but it’s suggested that you do the step.
It is written before that before to determine the main keyword it is best if you run the keyword research first either by using Google keyword suggestion, Google AdWords Keyword Tool, Google Insight, or by combining the three techniques mentioned.

What it meant by the main keyword on domain name is a keyword that we target contained on domain name used. For example, if the target keyword is “nike shoes”.
At least in domain name used consist of words “nike” or “shoes”, and will be better if both are contained in domain, example:

- nikeshoesonline.com
- nikeshoessale.com
- nikeshoesdiscount.com
- etc.

Domain name is unique it means a domain name can only be used by one user in around the world, therefore if a domain name has been used by other parties, then we can’t buy or use it.
How do we know if domain name has not purchased yet by someone else? We can find out by using whois tool which available on internet such as:

- http://www.whois.com
- http://who.is
- Etc
Not only to know the domain ownership, but whois tool also provides suggestions for domain names related with the domain name we are search and we can use.
