Three Leadership Styles: Keys for Successful Business Leader

Leadership has been claimed to be the most important skill the manager or managerial people should have. As CEO or other Top Business Managers have used their leadership skills it’s not always true that the successful ones are using certain kind of style. Different outstanding Mangers or business leaders may have applied different leadership styles to gain their success. It gives us an inspiration that it’s not only the person’s or the leaders’ personal characters play the rule but also the leadership style he or she applied do matter. The rest of the two paragraphs here are going to give you a sight on three different kinds of leadership styles.

The first one is Autocratic. This kind of leadership style focuses on the manager as the decision maker who has the highest authority and makes minimal consultation with the subordinates. It gives her or him the possibility to get all of the responsibility. The leader is not investing on the leadership development and mutual relationship with the subordinates like what the Democratic style leadership will do. In this second style, the Democratic style, there is a process of sharing responsibility and continual consultation between the leader and the subordinates. It grows the leadership and invests the leadership in the business. By having the democratic style your company may have more brilliant ideas come up from the employees as they get the opportunity to show and express theirs.

The last style is Bureaucratic. It’s commonly more like Autocratic in the term of the rules and its function. The employees are asked to obey all of the rules systematically which automatically resulted in more leader or manager dominant leadership. The benefits of each leadership style so sensitive depend on each case and situation. If Google is using Democratic leadership style, Apple is also success with its Autocratic style.
