How to write comparison essays correctly

Perhaps, I am not a good writer, but the fact shows that I always write, especially on this blog to share thoughts and opinions with you all. So, today, I would like to write about how to write comparison essays correctly. It’s neither absolutely my thoughts nor opinions because I have often read many resources on how to write correctly and effectively, especially, how to write for a blog. Therefore, you may find something similar to what you may have read from other writings. Anyway, I try to write something new for you because it’s really my own writing without copying and pasting any writing at all.

Today I would like to write something different from writing on a blog. I just want to share with you how to write the essays that compare two different things or subjects, but unclear for many people, which are often the hard things to do by most students. Comparison essays may also talk two similar subjects, but the two subjects have something different. For instance, you have two books written by the same writer, but you need to compare how the first book is better or worse than the second book.

At first, you write an introduction that can make every reader impressed and interested in reading on and more. Tell the readers that you are writing an interesting topic talking and comparing two subjects. Tell that the two subjects are important, but you need to choose an option, either first subject or second subject.

At the next paragraph, describe how the first subject would be like. Tell the readers about the most interesting features of first subject. And then write your opinions about the first subject.

Go to the next paragraph. Here, try to write something that can make the readers understand that they are reading a comparison essay. You can start with the words, “Being compared with”, “Similar to”, and so on.
