I just wanted to take a break this morning and share with you. This morning Wilma, the oldest, participated in the Armed Forces Kids Run…it was lots of fun, and I am so very very proud of her!
She came in 1st place for the 5-6yo Girls! And 2nd Overall. They ran 1/2 mile and I am telling each one of those kids could have whipped me, at least it seemed that way! She finished in 6.8mins! Not that I was counting or anything, and her shoe was untied! I was soooo scared she was going to eat it right before the finish line, but nope. As she was running about 10 yards from the finish line she was almost in tears…girls are hilarious!
